IS THE NIGHT WALTZ WORTH IT IN GENSHIN IMPACT?

IS THE NIGHT WALTZ WORTH IT IN GENSHIN IMPACT?

The Night Waltz is a four-star bow that greatly benefits archers who specialize in general Physical Damage in Genshin Impact , but unfortunately, it is one of the most niche weapons in the entire game.

It’s not that it’s a bad arc, but it doesn’t have any good candidates for it. In addition, it is custom created for a certain character when playing with the Main DPS role , which is not worth it because said character shines more in his role as Support DPS than in this other one.

Therefore, it is a bow that is not really worth taking out unless you are a big fan of the character who can get the most out of it and you decide to take her as the Main DPS on your team. That said, let’s look at the restrictive attributes of this bow and the effects that its passive can give us.

ATTRIBUTES OF THE NIGHT WALTZ IN GENSHIN IMPACT

Let’s start with his statistics:

  • Base Attack Level 1 : 42.
  • Base Attack Level 90 : 510.

The Base Attack that this weapon has is medium range within the existing four-star ranges; shares the same amount of Base Attack as Serenade of Calm , Moonlight Prototype, Last Chord , and Emerald Slayer’s Bow.

Its secondary attribute is the following:

  • Level 1 Physical Damage Bonus : 9%.
  • Level 90 Physical Damage Bonus : 41.3%.

As a secondary stat, Night Waltz will grant a 41.3% Physical Damage Bonus at level 90, something that will be quite juicy for those archers who go for Physical Damage.

His Passive Skill confers the following effect:

  • R1 : When attacking an enemy with a Normal Attack, Elemental Skill damage is increased by 20% for 5 seconds and vice versa.
  • R5 : When attacking an enemy with a Normal Attack, Elemental Skill damage is increased by 40% for 5 seconds and vice versa.

This passive effect is very similar to that of one of the Battle Pass weapons, the catalyst called Solar Pearl . This passive effect is great for us if the character’s main source of damage is his Normal Attacks, his Elemental Skill, or both.

The good thing about this passive is that it has a fairly basic activation requirement and can be activated by any character, the problem is that being a bow that grants a Physical Damage Bonus with its secondary statistic makes many of the characters who could have it taken advantage of is totally useless to them.

WHICH CHARACTER SHOULD I PUT IT TO?

This bow is only recommended to be equipped on archers who go Physical Damage and have an Elemental Skill that does decent damage:

Fischl in Genshin Impact

Effectively, this bow is tailor-made for Fischl when we run her as a Main DPS instead of her usual Support role . Certainly, this bow will increase her offensive capabilities and allow her to deal fairly decent damage with his Normal Attacks.

Fischl will have no problems keeping the passive effect active, since Oz has a long duration that will allow him to maintain the increase in damage for his Normal Attacks almost permanently, since he remains on the battlefield attacking constantly. constant for a long time and we can take it out again by launching Fischl’s Ulti.

The increase in damage that this bow will generate for Fischl’s Elemental Skill will also be important, since although Oz does not generate as much damage in this Main DPS build as in the Support DPS build , it is still a fairly decent source of damage that also gives him allows you to constantly generate Superconductors together with another character who applies Cryo to favor Fischl’s Normal Attacks.

Other characters who take advantage of it:

  • If for some reason you decide to take any other archer like Gorou or Amber to Physical Damage (which is not recommended), you can equip them with this weapon due to the increase in Physical Damage and the increase in damage for Normal Attacks that the weapon’s passive grants, but It will be much better to equip them with the Rust, which grants a much higher Damage Bonus to Normal Attacks.
