The Alley Hunter is a very beneficial four-star bow in Genshin Impact for characters who have the role of Support DPS and spend little time on the battlefield.
His Passive Ability confers a damage increase based on the time the character spends off the field, on the contrary, if the character spends more time on the field than necessary, they will gradually lose this damage bonus.
From my point of view it is a pretty good bow that goes very unnoticed due to its few appearances in the banners of the Gachapón de Armas, but if you have the opportunity I encourage you to get it and try it on one of the characters that we will recommend later. .
ALLEY HUNTER ATTRIBUTES IN GENSHIN IMPACT
Let’s start by looking at its attributes:
- Base Attack Level 1: 44.
- Base Attack Level 90: 565.
Fortunately, it has a high Base Attack within the four-star arcs, as it does with the Moon of Mouun and the Dark Crag Arc.
- Attack % Level 1: 6%.
- Attack % Level 90: 27.6%.
It’s a shame that it gives us a somewhat low amount of Attack % as a secondary stat (which is already very common in bows), but it is also true that it has a very good Passive Ability with which it will compensate for this, so let’s analyze it.
The Passive Ability of the Alley Hunter is as follows:
- The character with this bow equipped will increase its damage by 2% (4% at R5) every second while it is out of the battlefield, said damage can be increased by up to 20% (40% at R5); on the other hand, if the character stays on the field for more than 4 seconds, he will lose 4% (8% on R5) of said damage increase for each second he spends on the field.
Basically, all we have to do is keep the character off the field for as long as possible and just use it as fast as possible to execute his Elemental Ability and his Ultimate Ability, in this way we will keep the damage increase as high as possible and keep it at that level for the group’s next rotation.
That is why this bow is not viable for a Main DPS, since we would constantly lose this bonus and hardly take advantage of this wonderful bow. To get the highest number of stacks we will need the character carrying this bow to stay out of the battlefield for 10 seconds.
WHAT CHARACTER DO I PUT IT ON?
The Alley Hunter is designed exclusively for those archers who have the Support DPS role and only need to be on the battlefield for a few seconds to cast their skills without losing the damage increase provided by the Passive Skill.
The Alley Hunter is one of the best four-star weapons that we can equip to our Fischl if we take it as Support DPS; He is one of the characters with whom we will lose the least time when making rotations, since his Elemental Ability is executed quickly and his Ultimate Ability we will only need to use to be able to put Oz back on the field or to reset his time of duration if it is already present in the field.
He is also one of the characters that gets the most out of the damage increase provided by the passive of this arc, since his Elemental Ability has a long duration (especially if your Fischl is C6) and also has the possibility of continuing to maintain Oz on the field thanks to his Ultimate Ability; that is, we will be practically always generating damage and taking full advantage of the passive effect without losing it.
Just like Bennett , Kujou Sara needs to have a high Base Attack bow to boost her teammates’ Attack as much as possible and Alley Hunter will allow us to give her the highest Attack bonus (within four star bows) to Sara buff us as much as possible with her Tengu Curses.
Even if Sara is not as fast as Fischl, she can still maintain the damage bonus of the bow’s Passive Ability quite well (especially if we have her C2, with which we can exploit the Elemental Ability without having to make a Charged Attack); In addition, Sara’s ult can do a lot of damage and will be greatly enhanced by this effect.
Due to the high damage Gan yu ‘s Charged Attacks deal , we sometimes forget that he is also a very good character in the Support DPS role; his Ultimate hits a ton of times and we’re pretty interested in upping the damage of these icicles with the Alley Hunter Passive.
We won’t have a hard time keeping up the damage boost either, as her Ultimate stays on the field dealing passive damage and her Elemental Ability is played quickly and will burst without needing her to stay on the field.
And that’s it! Do you think the Alley Hunter is a good bow in Genshin Impact ? Do you prefer it over the Last Chord ? Which character do you have it equipped to? Leave your comment!
