IS RECORDED PROMISE WORTH IT IN HONKAI STAR RAIL?

IS RECORDED PROMISE WORTH IT IN HONKAI STAR RAIL?

” Engraved Promise ” is a 4-star Cone of Light introduced in version 2.0 of Honkai Star Rail  for Destruction characters that is not very versatile, so it will only be useful for some specific characters, which does not necessarily mean that It is a bad Cone of Light.

It stands out mainly for providing a large amount of Break Effect, a statistic that all DPS characters take advantage of but it is true that it is not as valuable as others and that is something that makes the Cone somewhat less interesting than others; speaking generically. Although of course, it is a great option for those characters who have a very good synergy with the Rupture Effect, surely one has already come to mind because there are some.

In this post we will see, as always, an in-depth analysis of this Cone of Light and of course below we will also show which are the best characters that you could equip this to if you have it. Let’s go there!

ATTRIBUTES OR STATISTICS OF “RECORDED PROMISE”

Let’s start by looking at its basic attributes, keep in mind that we will give you the data that it has at level 80 (the maximum):

  • HP : 953.
  • ATK : 476.
  • DEF : 331.

Next, we will see the benefits that the passive of this Cone of Light brings us:

  • S1 : +28% Break Effect. +15% CRIT Chance for 2 turns when using the Ultimate.
  • S5 : +56% Break Effect. +30% CRIT Chance for 2 turns when using the Ultimate.

From the outset we already see that Recorded Promise provides us with a decent amount of Break Effect, a statistic that although it is true that it is useful for most characters, it is not so in demand in standard DPS since they usually prefer Damage directly. , Attack (HP in some cases) and Critical. Which does not mean that it is of course a very relevant statistic for some specific characters that we will mention below.

But that’s not all, we will also get a fairly high amount of Critical Chance for 2 turns after using the Ultimate Skill, something that will be useful for practically any DPS in the game; In the end we are talking about one of the most relevant statistics in the game for a DPS .

Of course, given that we will only get the effect for 2 turns after using the Ultimate, it will be rare for us to be able to maintain the effect 100% of the time (it is not common for DPS to use their ultimate so often in most cases, although It will depend on whether we go with characters like Tingyun or Huohuo , of course), so we should not count on that amount of Critical Chance. That is to say, it is better to have a character with a well-balanced critical as standard and that this boost to Critical Chance is more of an addition than a necessity as such.

However, keep in mind that if you equip it, it won’t pay you much to have a Critical Chance that exceeds 100% when you achieve this effect.

WHAT CHARACTER DID I EQUIP IT TO?

Ideally, it would be equipped on those DPS that benefit greatly from the Break Effect since Critical Chance is something that really all DPS will appreciate.

Xueyi on Honkai Star Rail

Xueyi is undoubtedly an incredible option for this Cone of Light since in addition to the effects provided by the Rupture Effect, she also gets great Damage increases based on this statistic, which makes it a great value for her.

In addition to this, of course you will also take great advantage of the Critical Chance that this Cone of Light will give us for 2 turns when using Ultimate, as happens with the vast majority of the DPS characters in this game.

Misha in Honkai Star Rail

Although Misha does not obtain as many bonuses based on this statistic, that is, he obtains the common ones that all the characters in the game obtain and that’s it, it is true that in his case it is a quite interesting statistic since through his Ultimate Skill he will hit many times at random enemies (whether they are more or less depends on several parameters, but in general it will hit quite a few times), so it will be quite common for it to break the enemies’ weaknesses and therefore it will be very interesting to have a Cone of Light like this.
