by Ghost Hunter is one of the first artifact sets you can get when you arrive in the Fontaine region in Genshin Impact , it stands out among the other artifact sets for granting an enormous amount of Critical Chance.
Something that makes this set of artifacts somewhat niche is that the huge bonuses it grants from Critical Chance depend on its wearer losing Life or recovering it quickly, since these bonuses only last 5 seconds each and if our character doesn’t lose health continuously or recover health by himself with some ability, it will be difficult for him to maintain the stacks to take advantage of the effects of this set (although we can always use characters like Kuki Shinobu , who heals quite quickly and will help us with this).
But on the other hand, something that I really like is that it can also give us a bonus to Charged and Normal Attacks permanently; It might not be too big of an increase, but this can benefit multiple characters that have the Main DPS role on the team. HOW TO GET THE GHOST HUNTER SET
We get this set specifically in the Sin Completion Domain ; We will find the door to this Domain in the Rociomarino Port, which is located in the Fontaine region. Another set that we can get while spending resin in this Domain will be that of Compañía Dorada .

- Crown : Visage of the Veteran.
WHAT DOES THIS SET OF ARTIFACTS PROVIDE US?
Let’s see what effects this set gives us:
- 2 Pieces : +15% damage to Normal and Charged Attacks.
- 4 Pieces : +12% Critical Chance when character’s Health increases or decreases, this effect can stack up to 3 times with each stack lasting 5 seconds.
On the one hand, the two pieces of this set provide us with a permanent +15% to the damage of Normal and Charged Attacks produced by the bearer of this set of artifacts; this effect is similar to the four pieces of Reminiscence of Purification , only the latter set gives more than triple the bonus damage (and also increases the damage of Descending Attacks) at the cost of consuming a certain amount of Elemental Energy and its buff is not permanent, it only lasts 10 seconds.
On the other hand, we have the bonus of the set of the four pieces that is the most interesting thing about this set, since as we lose Life or heal ourselves, we will gain some stacks that will provide us with a 12% Critical Chance, thus being able to increase the Critical Chance of its wearer by up to 36% .
It is certainly a very beastly amount for said statistic and it will come in handy, but the downside is that the duration of each bonus is independent and lasts only 5 seconds each, so only very specific characters or those who receive constant healing.
WHAT CHARACTER DO I PUT IT ON?
Ideally, it would be equipped on characters whose main damage source is their Normal Attacks or Charged Attacks and who have mechanics in their kit that allow them to lose and restore Health on their own.
Lyney ‘s main source of damage will be the powerful Charged Attacks she performs when launching her Hidden Magic Arrows, so she’s quite keen on increasing the damage of these attacks permanently by equipping this Ghost Hunter set.
Another small detail that can benefit from this effect is the explosion of the hats that it summons when executing its Charged Attacks, since if we use its Elemental Ability when one of these is still active on the field, it will explode but its damage will be considered as Charged Attack and therefore also takes advantage of +15% damage.
Every time we execute a Charged Attack, if Lyney has more than 60% of her Health, she will take damage to get some stacks that she can spend using her Elemental Ability to heal and increase the damage of the ability itself, so the loss of Life of the Charged Attacks along with the Health recovery from the Elemental Ability will be enough to get the +36% Critical Chance that this set can give it.
Other characters:
- Lynette : If we get Lynette’s C6, she can be imbued into Anemo by using her Elemental Ability and changing her team role from Support DPS to Main DPS . His Elemental Ability allows him to first recover a certain amount of Health upon casting and after that, he will lose 6% of his Health every second for 4 seconds, allowing him to stack Critical Chance with great speed.
