” Final Winner ” is a 4-star Cone of Light introduced in version 2.0 of Honkai Star Rail for characters of the Hunting Path, well… the truth is that it has a rather confusing explanation to understand, but in this post we will try to explain it. explain to you what its exact operation is.
It doesn’t seem like a bad Cone at all, but it is true that it is the typical Cone of Light that not all the characters of the Way can fully take advantage of since one of the most important premises for it to be able to give us its maximum potential will be that of equipping it to a character who has attacks that hit many times or that have additional attacks or actions (we explain better below) since this Cone works somewhat similar to the following set of artifacts:
Grand Duke Incinerator
2 Pieces: +20% Damage on Additional Attacks. 4 Pieces: +6% ATK for each time an Additional Attack causes damage. It can be stacked 8 times and lasts 3 turns. The effect dissipates when using the next Extra Attack.
Let’s begin with the detailed analysis of this Cone of Light and below we will also give you, as usual, our recommendations of ideal characters for it. Let’s go there!
ATTRIBUTES OR STATISTICS OF «FINAL WINNER»
Let’s start by looking at its basic attributes, keep in mind that we will give you the data that it has at level 80 (the maximum):
- HP : 953.
- ATK : 476.
- DEF : 331.
Next, we will see the benefits that the passive of this Cone of Light brings us:
- S1 : +12% ATK. +8% CRIT Damage for each critical performed, maximum 4 stacks. At the end of the wearer’s turn, it loses CRIT Damage stacks.
- S5 : +20% ATK. +12% CRIT Damage for each critical performed, maximum 4 stacks. At the end of the wearer’s turn, it loses CRIT Damage stacks.
I’ll explain the second part, which is what is a bit confusing, we will assume that we have the Cone of Light in S1. Every time the character performs a critical hit, that is, each hit that is critical will give us +8% Critical Damage… I mean that if, for example, when performing a Basic Skill the character gives 3 hits and all 3 are critical, Well, we would get 3 accumulations of Critical Damage. That is, the first hit of said skill will have +0% Critical Damage, the second a +8% and the third a +16% (if we then hit another hit, then we would get +24%).
The thing is that at the end of the bearer’s turn we would lose all the Critical Damage charges, but… the characters of the Hunting Path usually perform Additional Actions and these are considered as if the character is still on the same turn (otherwise Otherwise characters like Seele would lose the buffs too quickly), so the idea is to play with that to be able to make the most of this Cone of Light. In the case of additional Attacks, the same would apply as long as they are carried out in the same turn in which we attack. The same for the Ultimate as long as we cast it on the character’s turn or if we use it quickly (before the end of the turn) right after using an ability.
Keep in mind that after the wearer’s first turn, when he reaches the second he will maintain the accumulations since these are lost when his turn ends.
The truth is that the Critical Damage bonus is quite powerful since we would be talking about +32% in S1 with maximum charges and +48% in S5; without forgetting that we will also get some Attack. Of course, the first hits between when you acquire charges will not be as enhanced.
In any case, everything is said, this Cone of Light has a tough contender that I personally like more because it also provides great bonuses but which, however, in its case are much easier to fulfill:
Sword Game
When the wielder of this Cone of Light hits the same target multiple times, the damage dealt to said enemy increases by 8%. This effect can be accumulated up to five times and will be lost if we change the objective.
WHAT CHARACTER DID I EQUIP IT TO?
Ideally, we would equip it on Hunting characters who hit multiple times through their abilities to ensure they can stay on the 4 stacks of Critical Damage for as long as possible. I don’t think I need to mention it, but it will be quite important that these have a high Critical Chance, otherwise this Cone of Light won’t be of much use to them.
These are our main recommendations:
Topaz and Conti is the character we recommend the most in order to use the “Final Winner” Cone of Light since it takes advantage of it perfectly because its Additional Attacks are its main source of damage and these hit a number of times exaggeratedly high, so in your case it will accumulate those 4 charges at the speed of light.
For her, this Cone of Light is somewhat more valuable than for the other characters that we will show in the list below because since she is a character specialized in the Damage of Additional Attacks, she does not have too many good weapon options for her and Therefore, he is very grateful for a Cone like this one.
Yanqing hits many times when she casts her Basic Skill, so she will easily get the 4 charges to be able to take advantage of all that powerful Critical Damage through her Ultimate Skill, which in the end is her most powerful skill and being able to cast it with this boost will be quite noticeable. He also occasionally performs an Extra Attack after dealing damage, but this is quite occasional.
Seele also makes good use of it since this character tends to perform Additional Actions very often and therefore will be able to accumulate Critical Damage charges quite quickly. In addition, she also hits quite a few times through her abilities, the bad thing is that her Ultimate Skill only hits once, but if we take good advantage of her Additional Actions mechanic we can manage to launch it with the maximum charges.
Sushang is another character who can take advantage of it because he performs a very good number of hits using his Basic Skill, especially if we attack an enemy who is in the Weakness Break state, so he will also accumulate the 4 charges quickly. Furthermore, after launching her Ultimate she gets an Additional Action, so if we launch her typical Basic + Ultimate + Basic combo we can greatly increase her damage thanks to the charges of this Cone of Light.
You could equip it to other characters in the Hunt, but they won’t get as much use out of it as the ones mentioned above. I will list them, but what has been said, it is better to equip it to those above:
Dan Heng
Decent damage on Single Target. It can reduce the SPD of enemies a little and deals more damage to slowed enemies. You can increase your Speed.
Dr. Ratio
High damage on single target. He benefits greatly from the company of Nihility characters. It stands out for its powerful Additional Attacks.
