In other words, it could have been a brutal weapon for characters who do a lot of damage with their Charged Attacks like Yanfei , Klee or Ninguang , but it doesn’t quite work with almost anyone because no character before Fontaine is capable of losing or gaining Life for its own account (without being a Healer ) when using offensive skills and the duration of the bonus for Charged Attacks is too short for the time it takes to execute these types of attacks.

When 3 stacks of this effect are reached or reset, the wearer of this Catalyst will regenerate 12 points of Elemental Energy (this effect can only be activated once every 12 seconds).
At base, this Catalyst will increase the Life of its wearer by an additional +16%, an attribute that is normally linked to the healing potential of characters, but in this case it is designed to increase the damage of those characters who scale the damage of their abilities based on said statistic.
As we mentioned before, this Catalyst increases the damage of Charged Attacks by +12% when its wearer increases or decreases their Health. This is something that is very present in the characters that belong to the Fontaine region, since most have skills that cause them to lose Life and some other mechanics that allow them to recover it.
We can stack this effect a total of 4 times, which would grant a +48% bonus to Charged Attacks on just the R1 of this Catalyst (on its R5 it would be 120%, which is an insane bonus). The downside is that the duration of each stack is only 4 seconds and it is extremely difficult to get all 4 stacks in such a short time and be able to take advantage of them in such a short period of time.
Finally, when we have achieved at least 3 accumulations of this effect or we have lost some of them and we replace it, the wearer will gain 8 points of Elemental Energy ; It is not that it is a very large contribution of energy, but it is a little extra that this Catalyst gives us.
