IS DREAM VILLAGE ADVENTURES ON HONKAI STAR RAIL WORTH IT?

IS DREAM VILLAGE ADVENTURES ON HONKAI STAR RAIL WORTH IT?

« Adventures in Dreamville » is a 4-star Cone of Light introduced in version 2.0 of Honkai Star Rail for characters of the Way of Harmony that provides a fairly interesting damage bonus but that I don’t really like very much since it has a somewhat… chaotic behavior.

This is because this Cone of Light will increase the damage of the Basic Attack, Basic Skill or Ultimate Skill of the entire group depending on which of these skills is the last one that the bearer has performed, which is why I told you that this Cone has a chaotic.

Even so, it’s not bad at all even though I don’t like this strange behavior too much… but anyway, let’s go as always with the in-depth analysis and with the recommended characters.

ATTRIBUTES OR STATISTICS OF “ADVENTURES IN VILLA ENSUEÑO”

Let’s start by looking at its basic attributes, keep in mind that we will give you the data that it has at level 80 (the maximum):

  • HP : 953.
  • ATK : 423.
  • DEF : 397.

Next, we will see the benefits that the passive of this Cone of Light brings us:

  • S1 : Increases Basic Attack/Basic Skill/Ultimate Skill Damage by 12% depending on the last skill the wielder used. Only one type of skill can be boosted at a time.
  • S5 : Increases Basic Attack/Basic Skill/Ultimate Skill Damage by 20% depending on the last skill the wielder used. Only one type of skill can be boosted at a time.

What I told you in the intro, depending on what the wielder uses, “Adventures in Dreamville” will grant a damage bonus based on the last ability they used. That is, if the last thing the character used was a Basic Skill, the entire party will get +12% (in S1) damage for the Basic Skill.

This implies something that seems quite annoying to me, since to obtain the best performance from this Cone of Light, we will have to choose the Harmony character based on which companions we want to enhance since, to give an example (quite bad because both characters do not match very well, but you get the point), it wouldn’t make much sense to equip Bronya with a Cone of Light like this to support Imbibitor Lunae since she tends to almost constantly use her Basic Skill and what Imbibitor Lunae would need It’s more about increasing the damage of her Basic Attacks (but if you did that you’d be wasting Bronya a bit).

Also keep in mind that this Cone of Light will in no case increase the Damage of Additional Attacks, so to support characters like Dr. Ratio , Topaz or Herta … well, it won’t.

WHAT CHARACTER DID I EQUIP IT TO?

In this case, this part of the post is going to be somewhat complex since it depends on many factors and as we have said, it also depends more on choosing the ideal teammates. It bothers me a little that it has to be like this, so my recommendation would be that you have this Cone of Light a little for “that character you don’t know what to put on”, because the truth is that it seems quite tedious to me to have to keep changing the Cones of Light of the characters constantly.

Anyway, I’ll give you some examples of Harmony characters to get the idea:

Tingyun in Honkai Star Rail

Since Tingyun performs 1 Basic Skill for every 3 Basic Attacks, she can be a very good option if we accompany her with characters who greatly benefit from increasing their damage from Basic Attacks such as Qingque or Imbibitor Lunae. She also has a fairly good interaction with this Cone of Light since when she launches her Ultimate Skill it recharges a large amount of energy to the chosen character, which increases the chances that said character will perform her Ultimate immediately afterwards, which would be enhanced by the Cone of Light. Light.

Ruan Mei would be a similar example in that she mainly performs Basic Attacks.

Bronya in Honkai Star Rail

Bronya usually performs her Basic Skill very often to advance the action of our Main DPS and enhance its damage, so if we equip her with this Cone of Light it will be a very good idea to accompany her with characters who cause a lot of damage through their Basic Skill. A good example of this would be Jingliu . Additionally, it would be a good idea to ult her just before the group’s Main DPS casts her, something that we should actually apply in general for all cases. Sparkle would be a similar case to her.

Asta on Honkai Star Rail

Asta would be a slightly more complex case, in fact I wouldn’t recommend it too much in her case precisely because with her we don’t have as much control over how many times she will perform Basic Attacks and how many times Basic Skills since this depends on quite a few factors.

In any case, it is true that if you have it at E6 and you can always attack enemies weak to fire, you will be able to constantly perform basic attacks (you launch a Basic Skill the first turn and that’s it) maintaining its 5 charges of Attack boost. The problem is that characters like Imbibitor Lunae or Qingque will prefer to go with other characters, so as I said, it’s better not to equip it for them.
