In Blasphemous 2 we again have the possibility of acquiring a Good Ending (it is called “Ending A”), I call it that because it is the typical ending that is more complicated to obtain than the common ending and has a much better ending than the Common Ending ( which would be Ending B).
Of course, I will mention that in this post I will not give any type of spoiler , I will simply explain all the steps you have to take to achieve this ending and that’s it. As soon as you do it, you will see for yourself what the change is compared to the standard ending of the game.
The best thing would be for you to do Ending B or Common Ending first so that you can see the “most crappy” ending first and then the Ending. Well, that’s my recommendation. Of course, clarify that it is not like you can’t see the Common Ending again when you do the Good Ending. Although well, it is true that you will have to make a certain sacrifice, I will tell you below.
AND WHAT ABOUT THE COMMON ENDING OR B?
Acquiring the Common Ending has no mystery, you simply have to reach Incarnate Devotion (the final boss) and defeat him . To get the Good Ending you have to do several things in addition to that, so it’s pretty unlikely that you’ll run into this ending in the first place.
Anyway, if you want to “be calmer” in the sense that you want to obtain the Common Ending first, you can read this post to know what you should not do (below I explain when you should stop).
UNLOCK THE GOOD OR A ENDING
Now let’s get to what’s interesting, the Good Ending.
THE 4 SPECIAL FIGURES
Ok, the first thing you have to do is collect 4 Special Figures , you probably already have some of them:
- Jaloque : Surely the easiest to obtain of all since it will be enough to have spoken with “Medardo and Escolásico” (the traveling merchant) in each of their locations (later I will bring a post about this, as I don’t have this one). Jaloque we can buy it in the last location of all, which is in Lluvia Granate, it will cost us 6,000 Tears of Amendment.
- Cierzo : You get this by completely completing the Forgotten Tributes mission , a fairly easy mission to complete, but you know, you have the link to the guide in case you haven’t completed it. We will obtain it right at the end, in the last location to which the Procession of Shadows will take us.
- Lebeche : You have to find the 5 Daughters of Mourning (the girls who are in bed for whom you have to blow out a candle) and complete the 5 battles that take place in Wake Streets by talking to the NPC of the Mother of the Daughters of Mourning (the lady who is sitting in her chair with a cane).
- Gregal : You have to get all the Cherubs in the game to go up to the top of the Tower of the Garden of the High Choirs (where the big Cherub is) and there you will have to go to the very top part which is a little hidden ( being “at the top”, notice that on the right wall there is a place where you can hook yourself). If you are still missing any Cherub, here you have the Location of All .
THE PLACEMENT OF THE FIGURES
Now that you are supposed to have the 4 special Figures, you will have to place them in the Altarpiece of Favors (you know, the place where we place the Figures that we obtain) in a specific way, so we will have to visit Montañés (the sculptor ), which you already know is located at one of the gates of the “City of the Holy Name.”
The case, you must place the figures exactly like this :
They have to be like this, all placed in the most central part and pointing towards the center (you will have noticed that each one points towards a different side). When you place them correctly, you will see that they turn completely golden to indicate that we have done it correctly.
THE INCENSE OF THE ENVOYS
First of all, I must clarify that this is a turning point, so you should think about it carefully, I’ll tell you why. It turns out that when we do this part of obtaining the Good Ending, we will lose these 4 Figures (Cierzo, Gregal, Jaloque and Lebeche), so you will no longer be able to use them. Suffice it to say that these 4 Figures are pretty good, so think about it… I guess that’s the thing about Penance, we always have to sacrifice something in return.
If you are sure that you want to get the Good Ending regardless of this loss, you will have to go to the location marked in the photo below:
You see that it is where the Palomas, but instead of going through the door on the left that takes us to “Lluvias Granate”, we go through the door on the right, which we can now access. Inside you will have to interact with a kind of crematory oven in which we will basically burn the 4 special Figures (in the inventory they will be called “Burnt Figure” and will no longer have any effect) and we will obtain the “Incense of the Envoys” in exchange, which It is the object that allows us to obtain the Good Ending.
GOING FOR INCARNATE DEVOTION
From here we have already completed everything we had to complete to obtain this ending, now you simply have to go to the area where we fought against Eviterno to face Devoción Incarnada.
You will have to interact with Eviterno’s body again, only this time after the question of “do you want to ascend?” We will be asked if we want to use the “Incense of the Envoys” . You have to accept and defeat Devoción Incarnada (the boss is exactly the same, something that disappointed me a little, but oh well), after this you will see the Good Ending, which is actually a lot cooler, but as I already said, no. I will say “ni mu” about the ending in question.
As soon as you see the Ending and return to the game, you will appear at the Prie Dieu (the checkpoint ) near where the battle against Eviterno takes place and you will still have the “Incense of the Envoys”, so you can see the Good Ending or the “bad” (I mean the Common Ending) whenever you want (to see the “bad” you refuse to use the “Incense of the Envoys” and that’s it).
