BATTLE PREPARATION AND WEAKNESSES
Of course, the better you have your characters, people, confidants and others, the better; The thing is that since it is the first boss, it is likely that you have not done things in the best way because this is a somewhat complex game to understand at first.
In any case, since it is not such a complicated boss, you have a lot of margin in the event that your team is not in the best state for the battle, but in that case, you will have to take even more advantage of the advice that I will give you below. :
- Equip a Physical Resistant Persona : This is because all of his attacks deal physical damage, so make sure you equip Joker with a Physical Resistant Persona so that he takes very little damage when targeted by the boss’s attacks ; this is outrageous. Here are a couple of recommendations (you’ll have to use the people merge mechanic provided by Igor the dream jail guy):
- Obaryon : The one I actually used.

- Use the Crystal of Lust : It is the object that we obtain by getting the 3 Seeds of Kamoshida’s Desire . It is an accessory that will provide the «Diarama» ability to the character that you equip it with. It’s a medium heal, but for this point in the game it’s a tremendous heal. Equip it to Ann.
- Carry HP and PE Medicines : You shouldn’t run out of XP in battle, but it never hurts to be cautious anyway. The same thing with respect to PS medicines, take it just in case, you can’t depend solely on skill cures because if the character runs out of PE, he won’t be able to heal.
- Tarunda : This ability will come in quite handy since when using it we reduce the enemy’s attack for 3 turns and it’s quite noticeable because the boss has a lot of damage.
- Rakunda : Another skill that can come in quite handy, this reduces the enemy’s Defense for 3 turns, so it will help us finish him off more quickly.
In any case, comment that if you do not have these 2 skills, you can do it anyway; I did it without them, but it is true that it can make things a lot easier if you use them.
And if you are wondering what weaknesses this boss has, well the answer is going to be quite short… it has no weaknesses (the good part is that it doesn’t have resistances either), so focus on using a Persona that resists Physical like the ones we have mentioned. up and use the most damaging abilities of your characters regardless of the element itself.
STRATEGY TO DEFEAT «SUGURU KAMOSHIDA ASMODEO»
Now we will focus on the battle itself. We will divide the battle into 3 phases and I will explain what you have to do in each of them:
PHASE 1: GO FOR THE CUP
The first phase does not have much mystery. We need to focus on attacking Kamoshida while also trying to keep our team healthy.
I recommend that you heal the characters when their life is at 50% or less, except in an emergency I recommend that you use Ann to heal, but you should only use «Diarama» (the cure that the Seed of Desire provides us) when the character in question has quite low health, otherwise use the smallest heal (Dia) to save XP (in fact since Ann will be the main Healer , I recommend that you do not use any skills of XP and save all the points only for healing purposes, use the melee weapon or the ranged weapon when you want to deal damage).
One of his abilities (he will drink from the wine glass) will boost his attack, if you have the «Tarunda» ability it is the best time to use it, so you will reduce it.
When we lower the boss’s life a bit you will see that this drink from the cup between his legs and all health is restored; from now on you will have to focus on attacking the cup until you destroy it or the boss will constantly heal his life and you won’t be able to kill him. As soon as you destroy it you will do a combo attack and enter phase 2.
PHASE 2: THE BALL PASSERS
Mishima will appear and bring a ball to Kamoshida, this implies that in Kamoshida’s next action he will carry out a devastating attack taking advantage of a ball pass from Mishima. After this, Shiho Suzui will appear to pass the ball to him again, you will have to focus on attacking him until you finish him off to prevent him from using his most powerful ability again. This is the best time to use your ranged weapons, if you run out of bullets use the melee attack.
PHASE 3: ENDING KAMOSHIDA
From here you will have to focus on attacking Kamoshida, there will come a time when Morgana will tell you to choose a character to stealthily try to steal the crown from the boss. The best choice is Morgana or even Ryuji, but never choose Ann for the following reasons:
- He is our Main Healer and we will need him.
- Since Kamoshida is a pervert, he will spend all his time looking at her and therefore will not be effective.
