I got quite serious about the subject because Nintendo usually has a tradition in fishing minigames of adding one that is much bigger than the others, the one that we could say is the “legendary fish” and of course also the biggest. complicated to fish, although in this case it hasn’t been that complicated I must say (nothing compared to what it meant to catch the biggest fish in Carina of Time at the time). The truth is that it is a joy to see that the tradition continues.
The case, that in this post we will talk a little about fishing in Kirby and the Forgotten Land and below I will tell you how you can catch the biggest fish of all.
KIRBY FISHING AND THE FORGOTTEN LAND
We will unlock fishing when we have rescued 155 Waddle Dees in total, a figure that you should reach when you are in world 3 or 4 (guidance because in the end it depends on whether you are one of those who get all of them or if you are going to sack).
Upon reaching this number, an area with a puddle will be unlocked in our camp with a chair in which we must sit to start the fishing minigame.
The functioning of the minigame as such is very simple and more or less typical for this type of minigame; The fish will bite at once and we will have to quickly press the button indicated on the screen, the more the minigame costs, the bigger the fish in question will be. When fishing they will give us coins, so if you need to farm them for some reason (in the levels you already get a lot, but good), then this is an option.
HOW TO CATCH THE HUGE GOLD FISH
As in the world of fishing, the key lies in patience, although at least in video games the process is shortened quite a bit (I haven’t fished in real life, but come on, I don’t think fish bite so quickly); although I must also say that not so much patience… I don’t know if I am lucky, but I think I was fishing for about 10 minutes at a time, tell me in the comments if your case is similar or it cost you a lot.
The case, that the key is that you do a lot of chain fishing without failing . This will make you catch bigger and bigger fish each time; it is supposed that if you fail once the chain is reset, but in my case I failed the chain once and I kept getting pretty big fish, I think that when you fail the whole chain is not reset, maybe it is a -1 or -2 to the same or something.
In my case I caught about 6 fish, the next one I failed and after that I caught about 10 in a chain and after this is when this piece of fish appeared, which the truth is that I was excited because I was already fishing very large fish in that moment but I did not expect that they had programmed a goldfish; it gives it that touch like more of a legendary fish. Surely I will fish more later because I want to check that there is not an even more hardcore fish, which the truth is that it would be cool; in that case do not worry that I will update the post to tell you.
