IO Interactive released a trailer and an image that shows us what the studio will give Hitman III fans in July.
In the image we see that we will have a new mission in the city of Bangkok, which will be open for a limited time. New Elusive Targets will be coming to the game, also sometime during the month. Some of them will reward players with an exclusive weapon, the Neon Katana, which can only be unlocked through them.
But the biggest point we should focus on is the addition of a brand new map. Its name is “Ambrose Island” and – as promised by IO Interactive – it will bring with it a large piece of history for the world of Agent 47, which will cover some unknown events from the history of the World of Assassination storyline.
Some of this content will be for all players, and some will require you to have obtained Access Passes from the first or second game in the series. It is worth noting that the new location will be open to everyone.
In addition to these, the studio has promised that in the second half of 2022 a new mode for the title will be released, which goes by the name “Freelancer” and will contain roguelike elements.
Hitman III is available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch – via cloud.
