GUIDE TO THE PYRODREADNOUGHT EMPEROR IN GENSHIN IMPACT

GUIDE TO THE PYRODREADNOUGHT EMPEROR IN GENSHIN IMPACT

The Pyroarmored Emperor is one of the first World Boss that we will meet in the Fontaine region in Genshin Impact , this enemy can perform very forceful attacks thanks to the two melting antennas of the Pyro Element that it possesses.

To greatly facilitate this fight, the key will be to have characters that apply a lot of Hydro in the team, since by applying this element we can break the antennae that enhance their attacks and leave them exposed for a few seconds to attack them with everything we have.

This enemy is found inside a cave in Rocíoblanco de Fontaine County, which we can dive into the cave that is located between the southern part of the sea that separates Elynas from the Equinox Mountain – Western Slope.

COMBAT AND RECOMMENDED CHARACTERS

His combat does not have much history, he randomly performs some movements of his attack kit 3 or 4 times and then uses his most powerful attack that does very high damage, covering almost the entire field and leaving the ground full of magma remains for a few moments. ; this attack receives the name of Corona Comburente.

To kill him easily, the most efficient thing to do is to break his antennae by applying a lot of Hydro to him . It is curious how it works, since with this element we can always break them, but to break it by means of Elemental Reactions with elements that are not Hydro, you have to wait for it to perform the Oxidizing Crown, since the bar does not start to drop. this way until it performs this attack for the first time during the fight.

Once we break its antennae, it will remain vulnerable for a few seconds and it will be our opportunity to attack it with everything. In any case, even if the enemy gets back on his feet after this, it will take a few more seconds for him to put his antennae back on (in case we didn’t kill him in time while he is stunned) and then the combat cycle restarts.

Kamisato Ayato in Genshin Impact

As for Main DPS, characters like Kamisato Ayato or Tartaglia  will come in handy , since they will allow us to inflict a lot of damage while lowering the bar on the Pyroarmored Emperor to break his antennae; Likewise, we can continue using other Main DPS such as  Kamisato Ayaka , Alhacén , Shikanoin Heizou , Arataki Itto , Noelle , Shogun Raiden , Cyno , Candace or Keching .

If our Main DPS does not belong to the Hydro Element, we can always use characters like Yelan , Xingchiu or Mona as Support DPS , who are also capable of breaking this boss’s antennae. Otherwise, we can take characters like Nahida , Fischl , Yae Miko , Shenhe , Albedo or Rosaria in our team.

Obviously, this enemy has a high resistance to the Pyro Element, therefore, we must avoid taking DPS characters of this element, since they will not deal much damage.

As a healer the best option will be Sangonomiya Kokomi , since she can apply a lot of Hydro with her jellyfish while she is out of the field while healing us, but we can also take other characters like Barbara , Kuki Shinobu or Yaoyao and we can even take some shielder instead as Zhongli , Layla , or Kirara .

ATTACK GUIDE

These are all the attacks that the Firearmored Emperor can perform:

  • Body Iron : When carrying out this attack the enemy will execute a jump and crush us with a Descending Attack, but we will be able to see a red circle that delimits the area of impact, so we just have to get out of it in time or jump to evade the attack. After executing this blow, the Pyroarmored Emperor will remain anchored to the ground for a few moments that we can take advantage of to hit him.
  • Magmatic Explosion : The enemy remains static and begins to make 2 to 3 magma explosions that attack randomly, watering a large part of the field. The easiest way to avoid this attack is to stay as close as possible to this enemy, since his attack will not hit us this way.
  • Nitrocharge : When you see the enemy eject a ball of magma from their antennae and grab it with their pincers, move out of the way they’re currently looking, as it will slam them into the ground creating a lava groove that will deal damage in a straight line.
  • Iron Pliers : Sometimes when we are very close to him, he will use his pincers to attack us and in the case of being far away, he will raise his pincers and quickly walk sideways to reach us and hit us; To dodge it, it will be enough to walk in a different direction from his trajectory, since he cannot change it as we move.
  • Oxidizing Crown : This is his most powerful attack in which the enemy will bury himself in the middle of the battlefield to accumulate energy and unleash it creating an area attack that generates very high damage and covers almost the entire battlefield. We have two options: either we quickly go as far as we can to avoid it or we attack him with a lot of Hydro to break his antennas, depleting the enemy’s bar and thus canceling his attack.
