by The Hydromimetic Tulpa is a Genshin Impact World Boss that can increase its damage by absorbing its own creations. Being a creature formed by water, he is immune to Hydro, but he is continually affected by this Element, so we can still generate Elemental Reactions such as Vaporized and Blooms.
This World Boss is characterized by summoning creatures called Semi-Mimetic Humans that will help him during the battle. In addition, he will be able to use water as he pleases to create various weapons with which he will attack us melee or from a distance.
The entrance to the cave where we can find the Hydromimetic Tulpa is located in the underwater part of Fontaine, so we will have to go to the Path of Hope and dive west until we find the grotto where this enemy is found. .
COMBAT AND RECOMMENDED CHARACTERS
This enemy does not have any special cycle, it simply alternates its attacks and, after combining several, it will launch its most powerful attack called Turbulent Wave. His attacks are quite predictable and most of them are quite easy to dodge, so we won’t have much problem.
As we mentioned before, this enemy constantly generates quite small summons similar to it called Semi-Mimetic Humans. These creatures are very weak and their attacks are very inaccurate, but we must eliminate them so that the Tulpa does not absorb them and enhance their damage.
Defeating these summons is extremely simple, since they are affected by Hydro and we will only need to generate an Elemental Reaction to eliminate them (even a Hydro Whirlwind is enough to defeat them).
As for Main DPS , I would recommend taking one belonging to the Dendro Element such as Alhacén , Tignari or Kaveh , since they will undoubtedly be one of the best options for this fight, since we can do many Blooms without having to take a Hydro character. However, this is optional and we can take other Main DPS such as Arataki Itto , Noelle , Shogun Raiden , Keching , Wriothesley , Ganyu , Hu Tao , Yanfei , Globetrotter or Heizou .
As Support DPS I would notably highlight Nahida , who can generate a lot of passive damage and defeat summons constantly with the use of her Elemental Skill. Other recommended characters would be Fischl , Lynette , Xiangling , Kaeya , Rosaria , Collei , Viajero Dendro and Yae Miko .
If our Main DPS is Dendro, it is best that we take Kuki Shinobu as a Healer to generate Overblooms while providing healing, but we can also take other Healers such as Yaoyao , Baizhu , Charlotte and Dori or a Shielder such as Thoma , Zhongli , Laila or Kirara .
ATTACK GUIDE

- Semi-mimetic Humans : They are small creatures that this World Boss will summon. They will attack us by throwing small spheres at us that generate Hydro Damage. When we see a trickle of water between the Tulpa and the Semimimetic Human, it will mean that it is about to absorb it to increase its power.
- Turbulent Wave : Covering almost the entire battlefield, small circles will be created from which a jet will emerge that will do Hydro Damage (similar to Ayato ‘s Ulti ), after a few brief moments, the Tulpa will summon 3 spears that will fall from the sky . These will fall in a location close to him, so it will be enough to retreat to avoid them.
- Hydraulic Hammer : This attack hits the same area 3 times. First, the enemy will generate a hammer that will wave twice and, finally, he will impact it against the battlefield to generate a wave that will generate Hydro Damage in an area.
- Aquatic Javelin : If we stay away from him during combat, he will begin to create quite damaging javelins that he will throw at us from a distance, inflicting a high amount of Hydro Damage; he usually creates 3 of these in a row.
- Sea Edge : Firstly, it will generate a sword with which it will perform an attack that will comb an area near it, and then launch another quite similar attack, but with its claws.
