GUIDE TO ONE AND THREE IN SEA OF STARS

GUIDE TO ONE AND THREE IN SEA OF STARS

One and Three are the next boss we will face in Sea of Stars and it is of the first battle we will have against that group of red-hooded people who have already caused us several problems before.

Although these enemies were somewhat intimidating (they have gotten a lot of hype into this group in the game’s history), at least As far as this battle in particular is concerned… it’s a fairly simple fight and one that shouldn’t give you too many problems.

But hey, you know, the idea is to make a guide to all the bosses in the game, so here we go!

HOW TO DEFEAT ONE AND THREE

We will have to face two enemies simultaneously: One and Three. We will first look at the attacks of “One”, then the attacks of “Three” and then I will give, as always, some more general advice.

ONE’S ATTACKS

These are Uno’s attacks:

  • Lunge: One will approach one of your characters, stand in front of him for a while and then perform a forward lunge. It is a bit difficult to block it because as it takes a while to launch it, it is difficult to get the timing right.
  • V attack (3 locks): Despite being an attack launched by One, Three will attack. Three will get behind one of your characters and perform a charge attack (blocks right when launched). After this he will make another charge that you must also try to hit towards another character (thus creating a V movement pattern). Be careful because when he is channeling this attack you should not attack him in melee or he will perform a counterattack blow.

THREE ATTACKS

Now we will see the attacks of Three:

  • Double Sword Strike: An attack that, despite not being a lock, is very powerful. He will approach one of your characters and make a blow with his swords and almost instantly another attack (you will have to block 2 times quite in a row, a little pause between block and block, but not much) and after this he will go to another character to do exactly the same.

Strangely enough, he won’t do anything more than this during the battle, well, and the attack alongside “One” that we have already mentioned above.

TIPS FOR BATTLE

Neither of them have resistances or weaknesses, that’s right from the start. For the rest, I recommend as always to go with Zale, Valere and Seraï. Although you can switch to Garl when necessary without spending any turns (a very nice thing about the game) either to throw a band-aid with “Sustain” or when you need to apply more bludgeoning damage (you know, hammerlocks).

If your team is very low on health (not too difficult in this encounter because they do a lot of damage, especially Three) it is always great to use “Restoring Light” (if you have 2 Combo, of course) or if bad I would recommend using the typical healing item that heals all allies (it is always advisable to carry several of these). “Valere’s Lunar Shield” also comes in handy to mitigate damage.

Also, for this fight you will have unlocked Seraï’s Ultimate, so if you manage to fill the Ultimate meter to the maximum (it’s like a bar that surrounds the Combos rhombus), don’t even doubt it, it is an area attack that does a lot of damage.

REWARDS

This time we will not get anything, something that already seems quite common in this game. You can simply continue advancing in the story, the truth is that it would be cool if all the bosses dropped something, right?
