ALL MEMORIES AND THEIR USES IN HADES

Memories are gifts from multiple characters in Hades , they function as equippable items that will provide us with multiple benefits during our escape attempts.

We can equip these items just before starting our escape in the Courtyard, they are inside a display case located to the left of Bones (this will also be the place where you will later equip the Chthonic Companions ).

We can also change the Memory that we carry for another in the rest area that we always find after defeating a Boss; In this way we can take advantage of the effects of different Memories, but be careful, we will lose some of the effects when we change memories.

    HOW TO GET SOUVENIRS

    Getting Memories is extremely easy, we just have to offer a bottle of Nectar to the character in question; this includes: All the Gods of Olympus (we will have to give him the bottle before interacting with his blessing), multiple characters that we find in the House of Hades (Dusa, Hypnos, Orpheus, Achilles…), characters that we find at the doors « !» of the Underworld (Sisyphus, Eurydice and Patroclus) and others like Megaera and Thanatos.

    HOW TO IMPROVE MEMORIES

    When we get any Memory it will have an initial level of ⭐, to enhance the effects of the Memory in question and increase its level, we just have to equip said memory during several escape attempts. The maximum level of a Memory is ⭐⭐⭐.

    ALL MEMORIES AND THEIR EFFECTS

    And now that we know how Memories work, we are going to see all of them, what characters each one gives us and what effects they give us:

    OLD SPIKED COLLAR

    By equipping the Old Spiked Collar, we will increase our maximum health by +25/+38/+50 points.

    • Cerberus.

    It will be an object that will help us when we start our first escape attempts, after that, it will not be of much use to us.

    MYRMIDON BRACELET

    It will reduce the damage we suffer from frontal attacks by -20%/-25%/-30%, but in exchange we will suffer a penalty that will increase the damage suffered by attacks from behind by +10%.

    • Obtainable from: Achilles .

    It can be useful if we equip it with weapons that have a short range and use them in close combat, as is the case with Malfon.

    BLACK SHAWL

    Whether the enemy is damaged by a frontal blow or by an attack from behind, thanks to the Black Shawl we will increase the damage of our first attack towards those enemies that have not yet suffered damage by 10%/15%/20%.

    • Obtainable from: Nicte .

    The Black Shawl can be very useful in chambers where we find a very high number of enemies to take away a large part of their life with a simple blow, but it will be quite useless against any boss.

    PIERCED BUTTERFLY

    Every time we get through a matchup without taking damage we will gain a bonus 1%/1.5%/2% additional damage to our attacks.

    • Obtainable from: Thanatos .

    It’s an excellent Souvenir that will allow us to buff our Zagreo massively, but you have to be extremely good at dodging to get the most out of it.

    SKULL HOURGLASS

    Wearing this watch will increase the duration of items purchased from Charon’s Well for 4/6/8 more matches.

    • Obtainable from: Charon .

    There aren’t many items in Charon’s Well that are worth multi-turns except for the ones that restore life when entering a new room, so I don’t highly recommend carrying this one.

    CHTHONIC PURSE

    By equipping this purse we will receive 100/125/150 Charon Pence.

    • Obtainable from: Hypnos .

    The good thing about this memory is that we only have to have it equipped in a section of our escape and then we can exchange it for any other memory and still keep our coins.

    SKULL TENDRIL

    If your health is at or below 35%, you will gain 20%/30%/40% bonus damage.

    • Obtainable from: Megaera .

    Another of the best Memories in the game, it will allow us to inflict much greater damage on the enemy when things get rough and we have little life left.

    DISTANT MEMORY

    Damage dealt to distant enemies is increased by 10/20/30%.

    • Obtainable from: Orpheus .

    This memory is very incompatible with the vast majority of the weapons in our arsenal, but it will be a very good option if we have Coronacto equipped.

    HARPY DUSTER

    While you have this duster equipped you have a 3%/5%/6% chance to find life-restoring items inside urns you break.

    • Obtainable from: Dusa .

    It’s not a big deal, but from time to time it will allow us to recover some life if we are lucky and some food falls from the pots.

    LUCKY TOOTH

    If you lose all of your health while having the Lucky Grind equipped, you will automatically recover 50/75/100 health.

    • Obtainable From: Bones .

    We can equip this memory just before entering the Temple of the Styx if we are going to have a complicated encounter and need an extra deadly challenge, it can be very useful if we face Hades with the Extreme Measures.

    SHIMMERING SEAL

    This item will ensure that the next boon you find is from Zeus; in addition, there is a 10%/15%/20% chance that it will be of rare rarity or better.

    • Obtainable from: Zeus .

    All the Memories of the Olympians except for Hermes are the same, they are very good to start the escape attempt with one of the blessings that you feel more comfortable playing with (in my case, Athena and Artemis).

    MARINE CONCH

    This item will ensure that the next boon you find is from Poseidon; in addition, there is a 10%/15%/20% chance that it will be of rare rarity or better.

    OWL PENDANT

    This item will ensure that the next boon you find is from Athena; in addition, there is a 10%/15%/20% chance that it will be of rare rarity or better.

    • Obtainable from: Athena .

    ETERNAL ROSE

    This item will ensure that the next boon you find is from Aphrodite; in addition, there is a 10%/15%/20% chance that it will be of rare rarity or better.

    • Obtainable from: Aphrodite .

    BLOOD VIAL

    This item will ensure that the next boon you find is from Ares; in addition, there is a 10%/15%/20% chance that it will be of rare rarity or better.

    • Obtainable from: Ares .

    ADAMANTINE SPEARHEAD

    This item will ensure that the next boon you find is from Artemis; in addition, there is a 10%/15%/20% chance that it will be of rare rarity or better.

    • Obtainable from: Artemis .

    OVERFLOWING CHALICE

    This item will ensure that the next boon you encounter is from Dionysus; in addition, there is a 10%/15%/20% chance that it will be of rare rarity or better.

    • Obtainable from: Dionysus .

    SHIMMERING FEATHER

    We will improve our speed and chance to dodge by 1%/1.1%/1.2% each time we quickly clear an engagement.

    • Obtainable from: Hermes .

    It is another item similar to the Pierced Butterfly, only instead of improving our damage, we will improve our evasion and therefore reduce the damage taken by enemies.

    FROZEN HORN

    This item will ensure that the next boon you find is from Demeter; in addition, there is a 10%/15%/20% chance that it will be of rare rarity or better.

    • Obtainable from: Demeter .

    COSMIC EGG

    When going through the doors of Chaos with this egg we will not lose life; in addition, there is a 20%/30%/40% chance that these boons will be rare or higher rarity.

    • Obtainable from: Primal Chaos .

    It is not that it is a big deal and it does not guarantee the encounter with Chaos, since this is random.

    BROKEN SHACKLE

    Standard, special, and thrown attacks deal 50%/75%/100% increased damage as long as they don’t have a boon equipped.

    • Obtainable from: Sisyphus .

    It can be a very good object to carry in the first phase of the escape attempt, since in this we will only get a couple of blessings.

    PERENNIAL ACORN

    The first 3/4/5 times we are hit by the last enemy in each Underworld region, we will take 0 damage.

    • Obtainable from: Eurydice .

    This acorn can be very useful in encounters that are complex at first, such as Theseus and the Minotaur or Hades himself.

    SPLIT SPEARHEAD

    After taking damage, we will become invulnerable for 1s/1.25s/1.5s (this effect can be activated once every 7 seconds).

    • Obtainable from: Patroclus .

    This Memory will mitigate us for an exaggeratedly short period of time a little of the damage received, but it’s not a great thing either.

    POMEGRANATE IN BLOOM

    After clearing 6/5/4 matches, one of our boons will level up randomly.

    • Obtainable from: Persephone .

    This Memory will help us to enhance our blessings, the only bad thing is that it does it randomly and we will depend a little on our luck.

    SIGIL OF THE DEAD

    By equipping this Memory we will replace the call with the Favor of Hades, this will make us become invisible for a short period of time; additionally, the divine bar will start at 10%/20%/30%.

    • Obtainable from: Hades .

    When the divine bar is at maximum and we use the favor of Hades, Zagreo will increase his speed, he will not be able to be targeted by enemies and will also increase his damage. Of course, in the event that we have already chosen a blessing of calling, we will not be able to equip this Memory in the middle of the escape attempt.
