WRAITH WANDERER GUIDE IN WUTHERING WAVES

The Wanderer is the main character in  Wuthering Waves and as with the main character of Genshin Impact (the Traveler) or that of Honkai Star Rail (the Pathfinder), he has different forms and as the game progresses, well we will be able to unlock more of these ways.

The Wandering Specter is the first version of the protagonist in Wuthering Waves and well, as seems to be a tradition in this type of games, the truth is that this one does not stand out too much if we compare it with the wide arsenal of the other characters it has. the game.

This character would be a Sub DPS , that is, he will not act as Main DPS , but rather we will use him to fill in a little the gaps that this type of characters have to simply launch their Quick Turn Skills and continue rotating. In order not to be too harsh on this character, it must be said that he has an ability that allows him to stop time for a very short period of time, something that is actually quite cool.

WRAITH WANDERER SKILLS

BASIC ATK: VIBRATION MANIFESTATION

  • Basic ATK : Combo of 4 consecutive melee attacks.
  • Charged ATK : Short range attack in which you will throw a disc forward, consumes stamina.
  • Charged ATK – Resonance and Postmelody : You can do it after the third attack of the basic combo or after a Charged ATK. With these attacks you will throw a disc forward, the idea is that you wait for the disc to reach its maximum distance and then perform a Basic ATK to perform a charge attack towards the disc and then you can use another Basic ATK for another combo and ready.
  • Air ATK : Aerial downward attack that consumes stamina and deals damage in a small area upon impact with the ground.
  • Evasive Counter : You must perform a basic attack after performing a perfect dodge to perform a powerful counterattack.

RESONANCE SKILL: RESONANT SLASHES

A circular slash attack in which the Wandering Wraith will advance a little and will hit in a not too large area.

FORTE CIRCUIT: DUSTY WORLD

The Forte Circuit’s energy bar is called “Tiny Sound” and we will fill it up by hitting with its Basic Attacks, by using its Intro Skill and also by performing its special Charged ATK that we have already mentioned by doing the “wait” thing. for the disc to reach its maximum distance.

If we perform the Resonance Skill while having at least one of these bars full, we will consume it and enhance this skill.

  • Resonance Skill – Resonant Spin : Similar to his Resonance Skill, but deals more damage.
  • Basic ATK – Resonant Echoes : If we perform a Basic ATK at the end of the previous skill (Resonant Spin) we will immediately perform a very fast combo of several attacks that is considered Resonance Skill damage.

A powerful area attack, without more.

INTRO SKILL: SHOCK WAVES

We will enter the field doing a little damage. Remember that you must load the circle at the bottom of the interface to its maximum in order to activate the Intro and Final Skills, as is the case with all characters.

FINAL SKILL: INSTANT

We will create an area for 3 seconds that does not cause damage as such, what it does is stop time for enemies for the duration of it.

INHERENT SKILLS: PASSIVE

  • Reluctance : Increases the damage done by the Basic ATK after using the Resonance Skill by consuming at least one of the Forte’s Circuit bars (Resonant Echoes) by 60%.
  • Silent Listener : Increases the Wanderer’s ATK by 15% for 5 seconds after using “Charged ATK – Resonance and Postmelody”, which is the ATK we perform when waiting for the disc we throw to reach the maximum distance and then perform a basic .

WAVE BANDS

  • BO1 – Odyssey of Beginnings : +15% CRIT Chance for 7s after using the Enhanced Basic Skill, consuming the Forte’s Circuit bar.
  • BO2 – Microcosmic Murmurs : +20% Specter Damage.
  • BO3 – Faces of Dust : +20% Energy Regeneration (that of Resonance Release).
  • BO4 – Resonant Blade : The entire team restores an amount of HP equivalent to 20% of the Wandering Wraith’s ATK every second for 5 seconds when he uses his Resonance Release.
  • BO5 – Temporal Virtuoso : Increases the damage bonus of Resonance Release by 40%.
  • BO6 – Echo of the Long Journey : By using the Resonance Skill consuming one of the Forte’s Circuit bars, we will reduce the RES to Ghost Damage of the enemies we hit with it by 10% for 20s.

HOW TO PLAY WANDERING SPECTER

Generally the idea is to enter the field, make a quick rotation and change to other characters ; It doesn’t have enough damage to consider having it on the field for a long time (it’s not Main DPS ). My recommendation is that you enter the field, use the Resonance Skill and at most a Charged ATK (doing the thing of using the Basic ATK when the disc reaches the maximum distance) if you want, otherwise the typical thing is, you roll the Release of Resonance if you have it available and ready.

It’s not even worth waiting to have the Final Skill – Intro Skill circle filled in, since although its time-stopping effect is quite useful if you have survival problems, it doesn’t provide damage or anything like that beyond that.
