WHICH 5-STAR PERMANENT CHARACTER TO CHOOSE IN WUWA

One of the most important decisions you will have to make in Wuthering Waves is the choice of which 5-star character from the Permanent Banner you will choose since the game has a banner that will allow us to select the character we want. Not to mention that the Wuthering Waves team, apart from this, has decided to offer compensation to players for some errors in its launch in which they will give us a 5-star permanent character (this lasts one year since more or less writing this post ). Come on, you will easily obtain 1 of the 5 stars of the permanent at random and then you will also be able to choose 2 more.

The decision is obviously yours, I am simply going to give you my opinion regarding which characters I consider to be most worthwhile from my point of view, but my greatest recommendation will always be that you choose the characters that you like the most since in order to Accounts is a game and the idea is that you enjoy it. However, if you are here it is probably because you want to try to make the best possible decision based on a good start for your account, but you should never base your decisions on the opinion of others, take this as another opinion to take into account or not and already. Let’s get to the mess that I get into for a change.

#1 VERINA (BEST OVERALL)

Verina is generally the best option you can take since she fulfills the role of healer perfectly and in addition to that, she also provides a considerable amount of buffs for her companions , so you have a healer (which is essential for the sustain of the team) and also a 2-in-1 support.

In addition to this, something that I really like about this character is that he does not require almost anything on the battlefield, which is the idea because in short, he is still a character that does not stand out too much in damage and therefore you will prefer that the characters that do deal damage take a greater role… I think there are few things more horrible than a healer who wants to spend a lot of time on the battlefield unless he is some kind of healer + DPS .

I think it is not necessary for me to mention how useful it can be to have a good healer who also provides good boosts for your teammates in a game of this type since, in short, keeping our characters alive will be essential (especially all taking into account that you will make this decision when you are starting to play) and what better than to have a healer who provides a great benefit to his companions in addition to healing.

To top it all off, she is also the typical character that you can fit into any team, so in short, in no case would it be a bad decision to decide on her unless, of course, you already have her.

#2 ENCORE (THE MAIN DPS THAT I RECOMMEND THE MOST)

Main DPS that causes a lot of damage in its enhanced mode that activates with Resonance Release, outside of that mode it does not stand out as much. It also has a powerful Forte Circuit Empowered Charged ATK that takes a long time to channel but allows us to rotate to another character.+ info

Once you have Verina, an option that will always work for you, the next priority you should establish is having a good Main DPS (the Main DPS) and in my case Encore is the one that I would recommend the most of those present in the permanent one, although the truth is that the next option that I recommend (Calcharo) also seems like a very good decision to me, so in the end choose the one you like best of the two.

Personally, I put Encore ahead because I think its gameplay is simpler and because it has given me better results in terms of damage . This character has good damage (based on the fact that he is a permanent character at the end and obviously there are better promotional characters) and at first it may seem that he is not a very good character because he has an attack that, although it does very good damage… it takes time. a lot of time to cast (he spends a long time casting ) until you discover that this is not a problem because you can switch to another character while he is casting so he can continue doing damage while Encore is still on the field casting his attack.

In any case, Encore does have a drawback and that is that except when he activates his Ulti (he enters an enhanced state in which he attacks very quickly with his normal attacks) he has problems hitting the parrys well , so it is recommended Take her with a character who supports her in that sense, such as Sanhua (a character who is given to you a few days into the game, so it’s not a problem).

#3 CALCHARO

As I mentioned, Calcharo also seems like a very good option to me and you could prioritize it over Encore without any problem.

Personally, I have decided to put him below because he is the typical character that requires more skill and knowing the mechanics of the game very well to get his full potential and this post at the end is oriented towards people who are starting their game, so you will probably count with a “tool” that you still don’t know how to use well and given that you are in the learning phase of the game, I would recommend that you better not get your head too hot before time.

Surely you can get a little more damage compared to Encore, but it doesn’t seem very worth it to me if you also have a noticeable “difficulty increase” at the same time, in the end it is also very important how easy it is to handle a character well and that’s why in my case I prefer Encore (it also has sheep puppets, what more do you want).

Of course, if you intend to go for Yinlin (she comes in phase 2 of 1.0) know that she and Calcharo have incredible synergy, so it would be a good idea to opt for Mr. Calcharo. Be careful anyway and don’t choose Calcharo until you have secured Yinlin because anyway, if you fail 50% and end up losing her…

#4 JIANXIN

I don’t really like Jianxin because he is the typical character who does a little bit of everything but doesn’t stand out in any of the fields, the typical… good at everything, master of nothing . A little similar to Noelle from Genshin Impact in that sense (she’s one of my favorite characters, but anyway, she has that problem).

It has decent damage, but not enough to be a good Main DPS for your team, it provides shields to the team (in a game that highly rewards perfect parrys and dodges), it can heal itself… but in In my opinion, the greatest contribution of this character is that he has very interesting abilities to group enemies together to be able to eliminate large groups of enemies quickly and easily.

In that sense, he is a bit like Venti from Genshin Impact, it is great to be able to bring his enemies together (don’t think that he brings them together as well as Venti, not by a long shot, the Bard of Pacotilla is a god in that field) but in many cases situations you will face enemies that are immune to attraction and there Jianxin loses practically all of his potential. In addition, it also has a very interesting area damage ability that has to be channeled and if you change characters it stops casting it and that is a huge drawback in a game where it is vital to make changes between characters and try to play with the mechanics of change to have several characters on the field simultaneously.

I have not put it at the bottom because it is still interesting to have a character with this characteristic, but in the end you must choose those characters that will be useful to you in all situations, you will go for more niche characters when you have covers the basic needs of the game.

#5 LINGYANG

Anyway, poor Lingyan, but someone had to be in this position. It is a Main DPS that does not have bad damage and has a gameplay that is quite cool because it performs air attacks, jumps and so on. I put it in last place because its gameplay of jumps and air attacks works very very poorly against some enemies (especially small ones) since we will miss some hits and that is a bit frustrating and it is a handicap that they do not have. the other Main DPS of the permanent and anyway, why complicate your life so much unnecessarily.
