This time we will see the boss of the first chapter of Throné in Octopath Traveler 2 , she is a thief with very interesting abilities and unfortunately we will have to defeat her friend Pirro, a guy who reminds me a little of Mikey from Tokyo Revengers the truth.
The mission will take place in New Delsta but the battle against Pirro will take place in Deamonte’s Mansion since he wants to become the successor of the Black Serpents and for this he must defeat Throné. Instead she simply wants to be free and leave said organization since she hates blood and of course she doesn’t want to hurt her friend, but it’s her or him.
But less lore and let’s go with what matters, that if you are here it is because you need help to defeat Pirro and I already tell you that if you follow the strategy that I will give you in this post, you will defeat him easily.
PREVIOUS TIPS
I recommend that you buy the best Dagger that you can, just before the encounter you will have the typical vendor who will sell you one that is quite good for the level that you will more or less have in this battle. This is important because we need to do a lot of damage with Daggers to get the most out of Throné’s HP Steal ability, which will be a must in this battle, so unlock it first. A good sword won’t hurt either, although this will be a little less important.
For the rest, I recommend as always that you raise the level of Throné as much as you can, the higher the level the easier the battle will be. And I also recommend that you abuse the stealing mechanic of this character since you will be able to acquire a lot of useful items for free.
PYRRHUS WEAKNESSES
These are Pirro’s relevant weaknesses in this battle:
- Swords : It is one of the weapons that Throné carries.
It has other weaknesses, but we will only use this one in our strategy.
STRATEGY TO DEFEAT HIM
At first, Pirro will be quite weak since he will hesitate, but he will soon get over it and start to be very aggressive with his attacks.
You simply have to go attacking him with the basic attacks of the swords to stun him, that way you accumulate Impulse Points and when you stun him you attack him with a hit of HP Thief with maximum impulse. By doing this you will deal a lot of damage to him and also recover a large amount of health, which will make the battle much easier. This attack will heal based on the damage you deal , so that will be the key to our victory.
It shouldn’t be necessary if you follow this strategy, but remember that in bad times you can always use a healing item. But you’ll see how with VP Thief this won’t be necessary.
When you have Throné’s Potential, take advantage of it because it is very useful, with it you will be able to do 2 actions in the same turn, which will allow us to manage the battle and our Impulse Points much better. If you do it right you can take the opportunity to stun him and hit him with HP Stealer with maximum boost in the same turn, that will give you a tremendous advantage.
Oh yeah, and as always, when he has the purple aura you better defend yourself unless you can stun him before he takes his next action.
