The Azurescent Conch is a fairly abundant ascension material that can only be collected at the underwater bottom of the waters of the Fontaine region in Genshin Impact .
This Fontaine specialty looks like a fossil from Animal Crossing, it’s like a kind of conch fossilized in a stone. Generally, they are found attached to any surface that we find on the seabed and therefore, some specimens sometimes go unnoticed.
In the entire Fontaine region we can collect a total of 99 specimens of Azurescent Shells , a fairly moderate amount compared to other ascension materials; This amount is similar to that of other specialties such as the Rociomarina Flower, the Amakumo Fruit and the Scarlet Yearling .
Collecting this ascension material can be quite an arduous task, since its specimens are widely scattered in many different areas of Fontaine and, on top of that, several of them can be difficult to detect with the naked eye. So if you have Lyney on the team to show us the location of the specialties on the minimap, you will save yourself problems.
WHAT IS THE AZURESCENT CONCH FOR IN GENSHIN IMPACT
The Azurescent Conch is used as ascension material for the following characters:
- Charlotte .
Another use of these shells will be to create the Hydro Treasure Seeker Compass , since we will need a good amount of this specialty to be able to create this compass so necessary to complete the exploration of Fontaine, we will need the following materials:
- 30 Azurescent Shells.
- 10 Golden Raven Badges.
- 50 Pieces of Crystal.
- 50,000 Moras.
HOW TO GET AZURESCENT SHELLS
With the exception of the Azurescent Shells that are found in the Letargia area, for the rest we will have to dive and search the remains of the buildings, walls and ceilings of the different caves, etc.
PATH OF HOPE
We will begin this route at the teleport point located south of the Path of Hope . Right in front of this we will find 2 Azurescent Shells under the broken bridge; We will find two other specimens on a rock and a rock wall that are just to the left of the teleportation point.
If we continue further to the left, we will find 3 Azurescent Conch Shells on a building that is underwater and another four inside said building. Then we will return to the same teleportation point and head a little to the northwest to get another specimen that is hiding on a rock behind some algae.
The rest of the Azure Shells in this part are not worth much: The one to the north is inside the ruins of a building, the two that are closest to the teleport point are on another broken bridge and the last one that is Further south it is located next to the Local Legend called the Itinerant Judge of the Abyssal Plain.
We will continue our path along the Path of Hope, in this part of the map we can find up to 14 Azurescent Conch Shells, but they are quite difficult to locate, because they are very scattered (some are very hidden) at different depth levels. The only advice I can give you is to pay close attention to this minimap and use Elemental Vision to try to locate them.
LETHARGY
Lethargy is currently the only point on this route where it is easiest to farm Azurescent Conchs, as the vast majority of this part is in plain sight in the hallway at the beginning and near the stairs of the building at the end; Furthermore, in this area we will not have to dive to look for them because there is no water.
ABYSSAL SALT PLAIN
Next we will go to the teleport point of the Salty Abyssal Plain which is very close to the Epiclesis Opera House. In this we will find 2 Azurescent Conch shells very close to the teleportation point, right on the ground and the other one in this area is under the broken bridge in the area.
If we move a little further north, we will find two other specimens on the walls of a narrow cave. After this, we will go to the teleport point that is located north of this minimap. In this place we can find five other Azurescent Conch shells around the ruined building that is located right at this point.
We can also find six other Azurescent Conch Shells in the underwater part near the entrance to the Court of Fontaine.
ELTON GRAVE
One of the easiest points on this route, we will only have to go a little further into the Elton Trench and we will find 5 specimens of this specialty on the walls of this trench very close to each other. We will recognize the place because it is next to one of the few Shrines of the Depths of Fontaine that are located underwater.
POISSON
If from the Poisson teleportation point we dive into the mouth of the waterfall and dive a little, we will find 3 Azurescent Conch Shells on the walls of the grotto.
INSTITUTE OF NATURAL PHILOSOPHY
We can find a good handful of Azurescent Shells at the entrance to the Institute of Natural Philosophy , the vast majority are found on the walls, but there are also some on the remains of the buildings.
In N2 of the Institute of Natural Philosophy there is also a very small area where you can dive, in this we can find four other units of Azurescent Shells.
FOAM VILLAGE
It is the least interesting place on the route, because we will only find two specimens of this specialty in the houses that are underwater in the Espumarina Village , what we will find along the way will be four units of Flor Rociomarina .
