The Sword of Laziness is one of the most forgotten five-star claymores in all of Genshin Impact , it is certainly not the best but we should not ignore it.
This weapon will greatly enhance the Attack of the character that carries it, but in turn, it will force us to carry a character on the team that generates shields in order to take advantage of this increase that it provides us in its entirety (this is in the event that the equipped character is not able to generate shields by itself).
The drawback that I see in this claymore is that we don’t have any character that carries this type of weapon and can use this huge amount of Attack to give bonuses like Shenhe , which would make it have some extra utility.
ATTRIBUTES OF THE SWORD OF LAZINESS IN GENSHIN IMPACT
Let’s start by looking at its attributes:
- Base Attack Level 1: 46.
- Base Attack Level 90: 608.
She has a medium Base Attack for a five-star Claymore; It’s not bad at all but it doesn’t compare to the one possessed by the Celestial Pride or the Ode of the Pines .
- Attack % Level 1: 10.8%.
- Attack %90: 49.6%.
This secondary Attack % stat will complement the Base Attack very well and will make our character’s Attack quite high; these stats curiously match exactly those of the famous Wolf Tombstone (sometimes I get the feeling that all Claymores have this same secondary stat).
His passive ability gives us the following effects:
- Increases shield protection by 20%.
- By hitting an enemy we will gain a stack that will give us a 4% increase to our Attack for 8 seconds (maximum 5 stacks).
- The above effect will be boosted by 100% if the character is protected by a shield.
This greatsword is totally oriented to boost our Attack as much as possible both with its high statistics and its passive effects, due to this it will come in handy for practically any character we want to equip it to.
Certainly we will need to have a shield permanently to be able to take full advantage of the weapon, so it is highly recommended to carry a Zhongli , Thoma or Xinyan if your character does not generate shields by himself (or a Geo character who manufactures them for us through crystallizations) .
If we do the math and always carry the shield, the passive effect of the Sword of Laziness with its five stacks can give us an additional 40% Attack which is crazy, so it really isn’t a bad claymore at all and sometimes it is very undervalued.
WHAT CHARACTER DO I PUT IT ON?
After all, the Tombstone of the Wolf is his star weapon and the Sword of Laziness is very similar to it (although it must be admitted that the first one is superior for my taste), with this claymore we can have a very high Attack with our Diluc but we will be dependent on some character that generates shields like Zhongli.
And honestly there is not much more to say, it increases the Attack a lot and therefore it will do more damage with all its Skills and Basic Attacks compared to other four-star weapons.
If we are not lucky enough to have an Ode of the Pines or the Wolf’s Tombstone, the Sword of Laziness can be a good option for Eula in a team in which she is accompanied by Diona or Zhongli in order to take advantage of the full benefit of the Passive Ability that this sword offers us (same case as Diluc).
It is not your best weapon but you will be able to take advantage of it and in the end it will be better than putting some of the four-star claymores that offer us more or less the same (like the Archaic Prototype) but to a lesser extent.
Poor Razor is a character that is a bit forgotten and he can also take advantage of this greatsword, if you don’t have an Eula and you want to have a character that does Physical Damage on your team you can equip him without any problems because it will do him quite well (besides , Razor is a bit of paper so it won’t hurt to force him to bring someone who generates shields on the team).
Can I put it on another character?
- Noelle : It is not her best weapon and it takes better advantage of Defense than Attack, the positive thing is that she generates her own shields and will not depend on anyone to activate the passive effect of the weapon. It’s light years in performance for her compared to Redcrown .
