« The Moment of Victory » is a 5-star Honkai Star Rail Cone of Light for characters from the Way of Conservation, which you already know are those characters whose main role is to mitigate the damage our party receives (the tanks, come on).
The truth is that it is a Cone that I highly recommend because it is tremendous for the vast majority of the characters of the Conservation since it provides us with a lot of Defense (something that almost all the characters of this route take advantage of) and it will also give us a good amount of Effect Hit, which I will now explain below why this is also so relevant for many characters in this lane.
As if that were not enough… it will also help us to make our character more likely to be the target of enemy attacks, so that being said, an extremely useful and complete Cone of Light for characters of this role except for those who benefit more from Life than Defense as with Fu Xuan.
ATTRIBUTES OR STATISTICS OF “THE MOMENT OF VICTORY”
Let’s start looking at its basic attributes, keep in mind that we will give you the data it has at level 80 (the maximum):
- HP : 1058
- ATK : 476
- DEF : 595
As you can see, we’re off to a good start because this Cone of Light has a high Base Defense, something that many characters on the Path of Conservation can draw on very well.
Now we go with the passive, which is what really interests us:
- S1 : +24% Defense, +24% Hit Effect, increases the probability of receiving attacks from enemies and when receiving an attack increases Defense by an additional +24% until the end of the character’s turn.
- S5 : +40% Defense, +40% Hit Effect, increases the probability of receiving attacks from enemies and when receiving an attack increases Defense by another +40% until the end of the character’s turn.
They are some very good passive improvements… you can see that it is a savage Defense (especially considering that if we get hit it will increase even more until the end of the character’s turn) and it also gives us a lot of Effect Hit.
Some may think that this stat is not relevant for the tanks in the game, but nothing is further from the truth, think that most abilities that taunt enemies (Fire Pathfinder is a good example of this) depend on the amount of Effect Hit that said character has to determine how likely it will be that this taunt will be effective on the enemies; I’m referring to abilities that indicate that they can taunt enemies, not the fact that there are characters that are already more prone to attacks by default, something that usually happens in the characters of the Way of Conservation.
Also, the part about us being more likely to receive attacks is obviously something very key in characters of this role. Its function is literally that, to mitigate the damage that the group receives and it is always better to hit a character from the Conservation since in general they resist much more damage than the characters from the other routes.
WHICH CHARACTER TO EQUIP IT TO?
It is a very effective Cone of Light for those characters of the Way of Conservation that benefit from both Defense and Effect Hit, which are the majority.
Gepard makes the most of it since on the one hand, he is a character who creates very powerful shields for the whole team through his Ultimate Ability and the amount of damage they mitigate depends on his Defense, and on the other hand, he also will benefit greatly from the Effect Hit since his Elemental Skill allows you to freeze enemies (something that also helps to mitigate damage) and without a reasonable amount of Effect Hit, it is very common that you do not apply the Freeze and that diminishes a bit to this character.
The Fire Pathfinder is another character that benefits greatly from this Cone of Light. Like Gepard, this character also boosts his shields based on his Defense, but it is true that his shields are less powerful than those of the rubiales. But… this one benefits a lot from both the chance to receive more attacks and the Effect Hit to increase the chance that his taunt ability will work. In the end, this is a character whose function is more to be him who receives all the damage done by the enemies than the application of shields (which, as said, applies them, but they are far from performance compared to other shield characters).
In any case, the truth is that I really like equipping him with the “Universal Market Trends” Cone of Light since one of the effects of his passive is the chance to apply a burn to the enemies that hit us and since He is a character that has provocation mechanics, as this ends up spreading a lot (and on top of that, since it is burn, well, better, so we can take advantage of the Fire Damage Bonuses).
Now let’s see other characters that could take it but do not take advantage of it as much as the ones above:
- March 7 : March 7 takes advantage of it because she will benefit a lot from both Defense and Effect Hit (in her case to make it more likely to freeze with her Ultimate), but it is true that it is more likely that she will receive the attacks does not spread so much since her way of mitigating damage is to apply a shield to a partner (or to herself) and in turn make the enemies tend to attack the partner protected by the shield more (it can be applied to several characters ), so the part about her being more likely to receive the attacks is somewhat contradictory to this functioning of her.
