The Forgotten Flower of Paradise is an artifact set that will greatly benefit characters who have the Elemental Reactions trigger role on Bloom, Overbloom, and Crackle teams in Genshin Impact .
This is a set very similar to that of Sueños Aureos ; to start both offer a bonus to Elemental Mastery with the two-piece bonus and with the four-piece this set offers us an increase in damage to the Elemental Reactions of Bloom, Overbloom and Crackle while Golden Dreams offers us Elemental Mastery and Attack % depending on the composition of our team.
You’re probably wondering which of these sets does the most, so I’ll explain the differences and do a little damage comparison to clear this up a bit; since at first glance the 140% increase seems more powerful than increasing Elemental Mastery by 150 points, but the difference really isn’t that exorbitant:
- Kuki Shinobu – 845 Elemental Mastery – Golden Dreams (+150 MS) 531.5% damage on Overbloom Elemental Reactions.
- Kuki Shinobu – 845 Elemental Mastery – Forgotten Paradise Flower (+140%) 615.2% damage on Overbloom Elemental Reactions.
On the one hand, in damage the Forgotten Flower of Paradise set wins by a fairly significant damage difference, but you have to take into account that this is because in this build our Kuki has a lot of Elemental Mastery and the higher this is parameter, the damage increase bonus in Elemental Reactions based on Elemental Mastery decreases (and of course, the good thing about Forgotten Flower of Paradise is that its 140% bonus simply adds up and is therefore superior in this case).
On the other hand, the Elemental Mastery and Attack % bonus of Golden Dreams lasts 8 seconds while that of Forgotten Flower of Paradise lasts 10 seconds, but we have to take into account that for the damage of Elemental Reactions to be maximized by 140 % we will need to do a total of 4 Elemental Reactions (also taking into account the second that must elapse between each reaction for this to activate) while the Golden Dreams bonus will be received immediately when doing a simple Elemental Reaction.
The good thing about both sets is that we will get the bonuses of both even if the character executes the Elemental Reactions while he is out of the battlefield, but at the end of the day you have to remember that Golden Dreams is more versatile because it benefits other Elemental Reactions like Intensification and Propagation unlike this set which has fewer options but will boost the damage of Bloom, Overbloom, and Crackle more than Golden Dreams.
HOW TO GET THE DESERT PAVILION EPIC SET
At the moment this information is not available, but we will update this information as soon as more precision is known.
These would be all the pieces of the set:
- Flower : Splendor of Lady Moon.
- Feather : Feast of the Withering.
- Clock : Stagnant Time.
- Chalice : Magic Flask of Confidence.
- Crown : Amethyst crown.
WHAT DOES THIS SET OF ARTIFACTS PROVIDE US?
Let’s see what effects this set gives us:
- 2 Pieces : +80 points to Elemental Mastery.
- 4 Pieces : The wearer of this set will increase the damage of the Bloom, Overbloom, and Crackle Elemental Reactions they activate by 40%. When activating one of these Elemental Reactions, the previous bonus will increase by 25% (this effect will last 10 seconds, it can be activated every second and accumulate a maximum of 4 times) and this will be possible even if the character equipped with this set is out of the field of battle.
The two-piece set in this set gives us a bonus of 80 points to Elemental Mastery, just like with Orquesta del Errante or Sueños Aureos. This bonus is being repeated more and more in artifact sets, just like it happened back in the day with the Attack % bonus in multiple new sets like Reminiscence of Purification , Echo of Sacrifice or the Decay of Cinnabar .
The four-piece set will permanently increase the damage of your Bloom, Overbloom, and Crackle Elemental Reactions by 40%. Additionally, we can increase this effect as we generate Elemental Reactions and when we reach 4 charges we can increase that 40% by a 140% increase in damage for those Elemental Reactions (although this bonus will only last 10 seconds).
It must be taken into account that this set should only be equipped on a single character, since in this type of equipment it is very important to control the Elemental Reactions and make it always be activated by a single character, so that we can benefit from the buff that this set contributes to said reaction and to maximize the Elemental Mastery of that character so that they do the maximum damage possible.
WHAT CHARACTER DO I PUT IT ON?
We will equip this set of artifacts on characters that are in charge of triggering the Elemental Reactions of Bloom, Overbloom or Crackle on the team.
This set suits Kuki Shinobu like a glove , since his Elemental Ability has a duration of 12 seconds, a fairly constant application of Electro without having to be on the field that also moves with our character and a considerable area that will allow us to generate Elemental Reactions constantly, being able to achieve without problems the 140% increase in damage to the Overflowering reactions that we will generate when exploding the seeds.
As we have seen previously in the comparison we made, in a build based entirely on Elemental Mastery, the increase in damage that this set provides us will be more beneficial than the 150 Elemental Mastery points that Golden Dreams would give us; since at such high levels of Elemental Mastery, the bonus it gives to Elemental Reactions is no longer as high as the bonus it gives Forgotten Flower of Paradise.
Nahida is a character that can boost her own Elemental Mastery to generate more damage with Flowering Reactions, being a catalyst she can hit with Dendro constantly when executing her basics and even her Elemental Skill will hit passively when executing Elemental Reactions, applying in this way mode an incredible amount of the Dendro element.
These are some of the reasons why Forgotten Paradise Flower will be a very good set on Bloom teams where Nahida is in charge of triggering these Elemental Reactions. Also, with her being built with so much Elemental Mastery and having such a restrictive team she’s hardly going to be the only Dendro character on; it’s one of the clear cases where this set will work much better than Golden Dreams.
Although Nilou could be an option for this set, it is preferable to build her with the maximum amount of Health possible instead of Elemental Mastery so that she increases the damage of the seeds passively and leaves the activation of these to other characters like Nahida .
Thoma is one of the characters that Pyro applies the most passively with his ulti, this lasts for 15 seconds (which can be extended by 18 if you have his C2) and every time we perform a Normal Attack it will generate a flaming burst that will will allow you to perform the Crackling Elemental Reaction consistently.
That is why the Lost Flower of Paradise set will be great for us to boost the damage of the explosion of these seeds and also, we will get the maximum bonus very easily due to the constant application of Pyro.
Of course, keep in mind that this will only activate while a character is hitting with their Normal Attacks (you can take it with an Ayato , Kokomi or Nahida for this to work) and if the shield breaks we will lose the Pyro application completely, therefore we will have to raise this talent and try to have a decent amount of health in its build.
Other characters that could wear it:
- Kaedehara Kazuha : On Dendro teams where he’s the one that activates Overbloom with Electro Whirlwinds (alongside Beidou for example) this set is great for him. Although we prefer to keep it with Emerald Green Shadow .
