” Night in the Milky Way ” is a 5-star Cone of Light from Honkai Star Rail for characters on the Path of Erudite, a path that, as you probably know, stands out for specializing in damage to multiple targets or area damage.
This Cone of Light can appear randomly in the Gacha , but we can also acquire it using the “Inextinguishable Cosmiluz” currency in the Store as long as we are patient enough to accumulate enough to acquire the Cone (which is not easy).
The truth is that the Cone is very good because it is useful for the vast majority of characters in the Way and its effects are quite good, which in the end is what matters. But nothing, we will see that as this post progresses, so let’s go there.
ATTRIBUTES OR STATISTICS OF “NIGHT IN THE MILKY WAY”
Let’s start by looking at its basic attributes, keep in mind that we will give you the data that it has at level 80 (the maximum):
- HP : 1164.
- ATK : 582.
- DEF : 397.
Next, we will see the benefits that the passive of this Cone of Light brings us:
- S1 : +9% ATK for each enemy on the battlefield (maximum 5 stacks). +30% Damage for 1 turn if an enemy is affected by Weakness Break.
- S5 : +15% ATK for each enemy on the battlefield (maximum 5 stacks). +50% Damage for 1 turn if an enemy is affected by Weakness Break.
The truth is that the passive is very good for the characters of the Way. Since they specialize above all in Multi Target damage , it is very interesting that the more enemies there are on the field, the more Attack we can obtain. It is true that this implies that we will lose potential against few enemies, but that is something already inherent in the majority of characters in this Path except for some exceptions such as Argenti.
Regarding the increase in Damage, it is also very interesting since +30% (in S1) is a fairly noticeable increase and the condition is quite easy to activate in the characters of the Path of Erudite since by causing damage to multiple targets and perform additional attacks, it is common for them to cause many Weakness Breaks. What is true is that, well, it is still a condition that sometimes we will not be able to meet and that is something that makes the Cone lose a little (even though it is very good, of course).
WHAT CHARACTER DID I EQUIP IT TO?
We can equip it to any character on the Path of Erudite without any problem because the effects it provides can be perfectly adapted to each of them. So we will base the decision of which characters it is most worth it for based more on the damage they do than on anything else (a character who hits more will do more, it’s that easy).
Jing Yuan is clearly one of the most notable characters in this Path due to his very good area damage, of course it would be better to equip him with his own « Before Dawn » cone, but without a doubt this is a great alternative for him in the absence of this.
Don’t underestimate Qingque for being a 4-star character, she does incredible damage and although it is true that she consumes a lot of Action Points… if you know how to play her, she is undoubtedly one of the best DPS in the game. Her Cone will of course come in handy to increase her damage even more. Anyway, it must be said that if you have the ” Today is Another Quiet Day ” Cone, you should equip it because it suits it extremely well.
Himeko is another very good candidate for this Cone because she also has very good area damage. It is true that she makes few additional attacks and that takes a toll on her, but she is still a character that does good damage and can get a lot of use out of this Cone of Light.
Regarding other characters to equip “Night in the Milky Way”, as I said, you can equip it to all the characters on the way without problems, but in these cases I consider that for some reason they will not take advantage of it as well as in the previous.
- Argenti : It’s great for him, but given that he is a character who, even though he is from Erudite, also causes good damage to Single Target, it bothers me a little more to put this Cone of Light on him in his case.
- Serval : It suits him well, but he doesn’t stand out as much in damage as the previous ones.
- Herta : Same case as Serval.
