Incessant Rain is a 5-star Cone of Light from Honkai Star Rail for the characters of the Path of Nihility and we could say that it is Silver Wolf’s Cone of Light because anyway, you can see his photo and it also suits him very well this character (to no one’s surprise).
But… the best thing about this Cone of Light is that despite having been created for Silver Wolf, it is actually a Cone that practically all the characters of the Path of Nihility can take advantage of since the things it provides us are useful for the vast majority of these types of characters. So in the end, it seems to me a very good Cone to shoot for, especially if you usually use characters from this Path, whether or not you have Silver Wolf.
Below I will show you everything that it brings us and below we will see the most recommended characters for it, that although it is recommended for the majority, there are some that get a little more out of it.
ATTRIBUTES OR STATS OF “INCESSANT RAIN”
Let’s start looking at its basic attributes, keep in mind that we will give you the data it has at level 80 (the maximum):
- HP : 1058
- ATK : 582
- DEF : 463
Now we go with the passive, which is what really interests us (taking into account that we do not make any Overlay, that is, in S1):
- +24% Effect Hit, +12 Critical Chance when attacking an enemy that has 3 or more debuffs and when using the Basic Ability or the Ultimate, we will have a 100% chance to apply a bug to an enemy hit that will increase the damage that it receives 12% for 1 turn; cannot be stacked, only 1 per enemy.
The truth is that it is a very good Cone of Light since everything that the passive contributes is quite good and in the end they are things that are very good for all the characters of the Way of Nihility in general.
The Effect Hit is an essential attribute for all the characters on this route since it will allow us to apply the debuffs with a higher probability, keep in mind that although in some cases we have a 100% probability of application, then we must take into account that the enemy can have Resistance to Effect, so we are very interested in this stat to ensure it to the maximum.
The Critical Chance for enemies with 3 debuffs or more will be great for us since it is common for this type of character to apply several debuffs , although of course those who apply many will benefit more. And the last part of the passive will also help us in that sense since we will apply a debuff that is also very interesting because it increases the damage the enemy receives, something that the whole group can benefit from when attacking it.
WHICH CHARACTER DO I EQUIP IT TO?
That said, you can put it on practically any character from the Way of Nihility and it will come in handy, that’s the good thing about this Cone of Light. Anyway, we will tell you those that get the most out of it, which are those that apply a lot of debuffs to take advantage of that additional Critical Chance.
For those who don’t apply that many, it’s not such a big problem either, because it’s not like only the characters of the Path of Nihility apply debuffs… in fact there are many characters from other paths that apply them like for example Hook with his burns or Serval with his electrocution among many other possible examples.
I don’t think anyone had any doubt that it’s a very good Cone of Light for Silver Wolf , that it’s his Cone of Light for a reason and he has his mask in the photo. She is a character that stands out (in addition to being able to add a weakness to enemies) for applying a large number of Debuffs to enemies, so it will be quite easy for her to hit enemies with 3 or more Debuffs .
The rest of course will also come in handy, but these are ultimately things that come in handy for practically any character on the Path of Nihility (Effect Hit and one more debuff , quite good as well).
It suits Pela very well since she is a character whose main function is to reduce the Defense of enemies and who can also apply debuffs to increase damage received, because the truth is that they are two things that go together wonderfully and that will help even more so that your team can deal greater damage to enemies.
Regarding other characters, which I have already been commenting on throughout this post, you can really equip it to anyone because even the part of the 3 debuffs can be covered by adding another character that is not yet from Nihility applies them. Anyway I will make the list as always and we will comment:
- Welt : It will help him better apply his Slowdowns and also the fact of being able to apply a debuff that increases damage is not bad for himsince he does not have this type of debuff , it is based purely on reducing actions and speed. I would rather equip him with « In the Name of the World », but «Incessant Rain» also seems like a very good option to me.
- Sampo : It would be better to equip him with something that increases the damage of status ailments, but it’s still a good option for him as it is for most Nihility characters.
