A player’s general strength value is made up of various attributes and his playing position and can range from 0 to 200 points. For example, a Striker will get a higher score if they have a higher completion value. The score, on the other hand, is less influenced by the duel.
The potential value, on the other hand, shows the maximum value a talent can achieve . The age of the child prodigy plays an important role. Younger players increase their attributes faster, while older athletes face penalties in physics and technique – they are slower and have less stamina. This is how the Football Manager 2023 calculates the values for the talents.
How do I scout for talent?
Would you rather discover your own child prodigies in Football Manager 2023 ? In the editor of the game you will find all available players under the item “Persons” . Now uses a filter and adds “Potential Ability” as a condition. You can find it under “Player Attributes” and then “Skills and Reputation”.
