Dweller of the Bandit Wasteland is a Honkai Star Rail Artifact Set oriented towards Imaginary element characters and it must be said that it is a set that is very good compared to sets of other elements; I would even say it is one of the best.
The set is completely oriented towards characters specialized in DPS and all the statistics it provides us are oriented towards damage. Something very interesting that this set can provide to characters in this role in addition to the typical damage increase of the element of the turn (Imaginary on this occasion) is a quite reasonable amount of Critical Chance (10%) and also Critical Damage (20% ). Achieving both effects has certain conditions, but luckily these are not too far-fetched.
It is undoubtedly a set that you will be interested in farming as long as you want to equip an Imaginary DPS character, so nothing, let’s go with the in-depth analysis and remember that after this we will see the best characters for this set!
LOCATION AND PARTS
We can farm this set in the Cavern of Corrosion: Path of Conflagration , an artifact domain that we can find a little northwest of the “Stargazer Port” of the Luofu of Xianzhou. It has a teleport quite close by called “Sprout Ship Nursery”. In this artifact domain, the “Lava Forger” set can also appear, a set for Fire DPS characters.
These are the pieces of the set:
- Head : Breathing mask of the wasteland dweller.
- Hands : Wasteland Dweller’s Desert Terminal.
- Torso : Monastic habit of the wasteland dweller.
- Legs : Powered greaves of the wasteland dweller.
SET EFFECT
Below we will see the effects that this set provides us with:
- 2 Pieces : +10% Imaginary Damage.
- 4 Pieces : 10% CRIT Chance when attacking an enemy that has a negative status. +20% CRIT Damage if affected by Imprisonment.
The two-piece effect gives us an increase in Imaginary Damage, little mystery in this part and little more to say. Regarding the 4-piece effect, we can initially obtain a considerable amount of Critical Chance simply by attacking an enemy that has a negative status (you know, a debuff ), an extremely difficult condition not to achieve since There are many characters that apply these types of effects and even in the extremely rare case that you are using equipment that does not apply any debuffs , you could still apply them when causing a Weakness Break .
But that’s not all, if the enemy is affected by Imprisonment (the Imaginary element Weakness Break that delays and slows down enemies, some characters can apply it through skills in addition), we will also obtain +20% Critical Damage with attacks of the character that equips this entire set. The Prison effect is still a debuff , so if you attack an enemy with this effect applied, you will also gain +10% Critical Chance.
Come on, in the ideal situation you will get +10% Imaginary Damage, +10% Critical Chance and +20% Critical Damage, suffice it to say that this will mean a noticeable increase in damage. In the worst case you would not get Critical Damage (the Imprisonment effect is the most complicated condition to achieve, or at least to maintain 100% of the time), but even with those it is still a good contribution from this set ( but better to also try to get Critical Damage, of course).
BEST CHARACTERS FOR THE ARTIFACT SET
You can equip it to any Imaginary element DPS to greatly increase their damage. If it can also apply debuffs or even the Prison effect, then even better.
Welt is a character who takes advantage of this set to perfection, in fact, this set seems to be tailor-made for him. He is a DPS character who also has a high Support componentsince he can apply slowdowns and also the Imprisonment effect.
This means that you will be able to obtain all the benefits of the set with incredible ease to greatly increase your damage. The slow is a negative state or debuff and also applies Imprisonment by itself without the need to have to break the enemy’s weakness; No character can take advantage of this set as easily as he can.
Dr. Ratio is a character who also takes advantage of it very well since it is a pure DPS (in that sense he takes advantage of it even better than Welt, who has a little less damage in general terms) and also, since it is a A character that is enhanced the more the more negative effects its target has, is usually carried with characters of Nihility (and therefore the part of attacking enemies with applied debuffs will be accomplished with extreme ease). What’s more, he himself applies a debuff with which he marks enemies using his Elemental Skill.
It does not apply imprisonment through skills as with Welt, so in this case we will have to break the enemies’ weakness with the Imaginary element to make the most of the set. Anyway, since this character makes quite a few additional attacks, it will be easy to break the weakness of enemies weak to Imaginary.
Imbibitor Lunae is an Imaginary element character with absurd damage and therefore this set will have a lot of use in it. Of course, he does not apply negative effects by himself, so we must accompany him with a character who can do so. Regarding the Prison effect, the good thing is that this character causes enormous damage to the enemies’ weakness bar, so it will not be very difficult to perform the Weakness Break on them.
Regarding the other characters… since they are not DPS , it is better not to equip them with this set and use other more viable options for characters more oriented towards support or sustenance of the group.
